Uterine Polyp and Uterine Septum Treatment in Anand - Usha IVF

Uterine fibroids and/or polyps may need to be removed through surgery, if necessary. The uterus (womb) is the part of a woman’s body where an embryo develops into a baby after embedding. Female infertility, repeated miscarriage, and difficulty during birth can all be caused by physical problems with the uterus, such as growths or structural anomalies.

Uterine fibroids, polyps, and abnormal development in the uterus are all uterine-related issues that might influence fertility.

Surgical hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure where the uterine septum (or broad band of fibrous tissue) is removed. The procedure is usually performed in a day surgery center as an outpatient procedure. Additionally, local, regional, or general anesthesia can also be used in hospitals, depending on the circumstances. A septate uterus (or uterine septum) has proved to be a very successful treatment for fertility problems. There are very few complications.

Uterine Fibroids, Polyps

  • Growths, such as uterine fibroids (noncancerous muscular growths) or endometrial polyps (growths linked to the inner wall of the uterus), or irregularities in the form of the uterus, are among the most prevalent uterine disorders influencing a woman’s fertility.
  • Uterine-related problems usually have minimal symptoms and are identified by imaging testing or a pelvic exam.
  • If surgery is required to correct a long-term problem or to remove uterine fibroids and/or polyps, it is frequently done.

What Is the Treatment for a Uterine Septum?

The uterine septum (or wide fibrous band of tissue) is removed using operational hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive treatment. This is an outpatient operation performed in a day surgery clinic for the majority of our patients. Depending on the conditions, it can also be done in a hospital under local, regional, or general anesthesia. There are relatively few risks, and this operation has been shown to be quite effective in resolving reproductive issues caused by a septate uterus (or uterine septum).

Using specialized infertility testing, diagnosis, and treatment, Usha IVF will work closely with you to establish the reason for your infertility issues.
